Requirements:
This is another 2-story steel structure building project which has an area of more than 10000 square meter. The upper floor loading request is 500kg/㎡.
Solution:
Since there was no steel column in the middle of the second floor, our engineer suggested our client to use the round pipe for the roof truss beam, which is widely used in a large span workshops, warehouses, stations, airports, etc.
We offered 2 grades of steel standard GB Q235B and GB Q355B. For the main beam and post we chose GB Q355B grade, and for sub steel structure we chose GB Q235B grade. Both of them belong to ordinary steel, but the most biggest difference between them is the strength and intensity. The performance of Q345B is better than Q235B. Therefore, the cost of Q355B is a little bit higher than Q235B. For all the projects we provided the propose material list for the customer's reference according to their requirements case by case, and will also explained why we made this kind of suggestions. We built what they want!
