Project Name:
Kulvir Expansion Project – Canada
From Sketch to Structure: A Story of Precision, Patience, and Performance.
This project is a modern steel-structured warehouse located in Canada, designed to accommodate local environmental conditions with high structural efficiency and material economy. The building footprint measures 64.34m × 43.94m, with a total height of 9.13 meters, covering a total floor area of 2,496.40㎡.
Project Overview:
Dimensions: 59.27 m × 18.1 m × 8.84 m
Total Area: 849.41 ㎡
Snow Load: 2.50 kPa
Wind Load: 0.40 kPa
Steel Usage: Approx. 60 metric tons
Key Highlight:
Roofing System:
Equipped with 75mm PIR (Polyisocyanurate) sandwich panels, the roof delivers exceptional thermal insulation and energy efficiency, ideal for Canada’s harsh winters.
Overhead Doors:
Designed for thermal performance, wind and dust protection, and corrosion resistance, the OH doors also optimize space utilization and enhance the building’s aesthetic appeal.
What Sets It Apart:
From Sketch to Production: The project evolved from a single sketch, undergoing countless iterations before final approval—demonstrating agility, adaptability, and close client collaboration.
High-Performance Materials: Use of advanced materials like PIR panels not only improved insulation but also ensured long-term durability and low maintenance.
Precision Engineering: Every component was tailored to meet stringent Canadian snow and wind load standards, ensuring safety and structural reliability.
The steel-framed building, situated between two manufacturing workshops, serves as a storage area for a regional building materials manufacturer. Following the expansion of its operational scale, the client requires the construction of a specialized storage area within this designated space. To ensure optimal material preservation, the roofing system incorporates PIR (Polyisocyanurate) polyurethane sandwich panels – specialized cold storage insulation boards renowned for their exceptional thermal resistance properties. This advanced cladding solution effectively maintains stable environmental conditions critical for product integrity while demonstrating superior insulation performance characteristic of industrial refrigeration facilities.
