This steel structure memorial hall project is located in Malaysia and is currently under construction. The building covers a footprint of 58.8m × 61m and reaches a height of 21m with a single-story design featuring a large interior open span. The project aims to create a landmark public space with long-term durability, cultural value, and architectural aesthetics.

To meet the project requirements, the engineering team adopted a steel framing system specially designed for large-span public buildings. The approach includes:
A structural design that supports open visitor circulation and event layouts
Anti-corrosion treatment to protect steel in outdoor and coastal environments
Steel components prefabricated to improve construction efficiency
Coordination of onsite assembly and lifting operations to maintain safety
The building's large clear span is central to its function, allowing internal space to remain open without multiple supporting columns.

The project is currently under construction. Steel components have been delivered to the site, and major structural installation work is ongoing. Progress updates will follow as the building moves into the next phase of construction and architectural finishing.

Once completed, this steel memorial building will provide a significant cultural and public space built on a durable, large-span steel structure system. The project illustrates how steel buildings can support both functional community use and meaningful architectural purpose.
