Apart from their more modern look, steel-frame stairs have several structural advantages. Here are a few:


Strength - Most people would assume that concrete is stronger than steel, but in fact steel has an ultimate tensile strength of around 500 MPa, while concrete has between 2 and 5. This is a massive difference, especially when you consider that concrete is only around 4 times lighter (per volume) than steel.

Shorter construction time - Even if concrete didn't need a period of around 28 days to fully set, the actual construction time would still be shorter for a steel frame staircase. Just creating the form-work for concrete pouring may take longer than the whole construction process of steel-frame stairs.

Cheaper - Although concrete is one of the cheapest materials available, this advantage is negated by the fact that a concrete staircase takes much longer to complete and involves much more preparation. When you factor in the cost of the labor, steel-frame stairs almost always come out much cheaper.

More customizable - Adding cladding on the stair threads is much easier for steel-frame stairs than it is for a concrete staircase.

FAQ

Q 1: What should be prepare for the site before start to built?

At the very least, you need concrete piers for the columns to sit upon. Most people pour a full foundation, but if you are using the building on a farm or ranch and plan to have dirt, gravel, or sawdust floors, a pier system may be preferable. In these situations, a popular option is to combine piers with concrete footing around the perimeter of steel building.

Q2. Do you have a recommended foundation and associated drawing?

Yes, we will provide foundation drawing and installation drawing for you after shipment. But the foundation drawing is just for reference because land and soil are diverse in different area.

Q3. Can add a brick wall to my steel building?

Yes, you can. For combined durability and beauty there is nothing like adding brick finishes to  walls of your steel building. You receive the benefits of a hard wall, such as fire resistance, along with moisture resistance of a cavity wall.

Q4. Why does wind speed affect prices?

For most of the steel structure buildings, we design wind speed is about 110km/h. But for some strong wind countries,110km/h is not enough, like the Philippines and Mauritius 150~280km/h wind speed need to enlarge the beam and column, that will use more steel on it  then increase the price a lot.
